November is now known as Movember, a month-long charity event which requires you to grow a tash and raise money and awareness for men's health issues, such as prostate cancer. It was started in Australia nearly a decade ago by a couple of lads who wanted to make a change, and what a change they have made. It's now been active in the UK for the last three years, bringing millions of pounds for its partner, The Prostate Cancer Charity, and more importantly raising awareness among men about important health issues.
It’s easy to get involved! At the beginning of November, guys (known fondly as Mo Bros) register online with Movember, shave clean at the beginning of the month and then spend the rest of the month doing growing a moustache of any shape or size.
